 Anti-anginal Drugs

Drugs used in the treatment of myocardial ischaemia mani-festing as angina pectoris include the following:

·      Organic nitrates

·      Calcium channel blockers

·      Beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists.

·              The toxicities of calcium channel blockers and beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists have been discussed elsewhere (refer Index).
